I’ve written out and then scrapped a few different posts about the Kyle Rittenhouse trial. This is not because I’m conflicted or because there are different angles in which I want to tackle the story. It’s because I’m only seeing one angle. A simple one, but one that is also complex and difficult to expound upon.
First, however, the basic facts: Rittenhouse shot three men in self-defense, killing two. Among the dead was a convicted child rapist. All three were rioting in support of another sexual abuser. As Rittenhouse watched property burn to the ground over similar riots just a few months prior to the shooting, he did what perhaps a lot of 17 year-old boys in a society lacking for real men wanted to do — acted on an urge to play the role of protector. In the end, he ultimately had to protect himself, doing so justifiably.
In a world led by facts and logic, one could look at the above and assume that a quick and easy trial might occur, with Kyle being cleared of any charges. But this is, of course, not the world we live in. Instead, we live in a world in which a very vocal portion of this country — aided and abetted by the corporate press — clamor for the public sacrifice of Rittenhouse, a teenager who sought to spoil their ceremonial destruction. The riots of 2020 weren’t simply protests gone wrong. They were festivities of chaos gone according to plan.
And this where the aforementioned simple, yet complex angle comes in: When observing the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, all I can see is spiritual warfare. Retribution over true justice. Destruction, not protection. Chaos reigning supreme. All of these being things advocated for by the people calling for the condemnation of Kyle Rittenhouse.
Consequently, these are the same folks who want you to lose your job for not participating in another sacrament of theirs — a world-wide submission to The Science. They are the people who want your children to be propagandized in the “righteousness” of genital mutilation, taught to feel shame for having white skin, and murdered while in, while exiting, and after having exited the womb. They demand your tolerance as they beat you over the head with their depravity.
Because it’s not just the Rittenhouse trial. The world around us is experiencing spiritual warfare, the trial serving as one example. Therefore, a call to better critical thinking skills is not a sufficient enough appeal. Good cannot overcome evil through reason alone. A Higher Power is needed, THE Higher Power. Good can only conquer evil when we make an appeal to Heaven.
