The Christmases from 2020 till this present one have felt differently. While nostalgia still reigns during the holiday season, something new indeed has come.
The world as we knew it truly did end in 2020. As this was transpiring, I hated it. Likely you did too. We lashed out, became blackpilled. From Covid to the riots to the stolen election, our doomerism was not without merit. And yet, when looking back, this is my view: it happened, and the world changed as a result.
Regardless of the source, change was necessary—individually and upward. We’d become blind and apathetic, including those of us who saw through much of the facade. Yes, even facades bring about real change—often in a form that initially sucks and doesn't make sense in the moment.
Use this realization in the future, as the cycle continues. And make your Christmases evergreen—a return to times yet to be seen.
